Mail Alerts

Mail Alerts notify you the moment something changes on a competitor you track. Rather than waiting for the next scheduled report, the platform sends an email as soon as it detects a price change, a new campaign, a product being added, or another activity that matches the criteria you set.

What triggers an alert

  • Price changes on the products you selected
  • Campaigns and promotions a competitor launches
  • New products appearing in a competitor's catalogue
  • Other critical competitor activity covered by your alert criteria

How to set it up

  • Open Mail Alert from the left-hand menu.
  • Select the products you want to be notified about.
  • Save the selection — alerts start arriving by email as changes are detected.
  • For alert types beyond the standard set, contact your system administrator or your Senkrondata Project Manager.

When alerts are worth more than reports

Scheduled reports answer "what happened this week"; alerts answer "what is happening right now". The difference matters most on fast-moving categories, where a competitor's price cut can go unanswered for days if nobody sees it until the next report lands. Teams generally alert on a narrow, high-value product set and leave the long tail to periodic reporting, because an alert list that fires constantly stops being read.
