Periodic Reports

Periodic reports are summary reports about your competitors, generated automatically at intervals agreed during setup — daily, weekly, monthly or another cadence. They are used to analyse competitor activity, pricing strategy and marketing moves over a period rather than at a single moment.

What the reports cover

  • Competitor pricing strategies over the reporting period
  • Marketing activity and campaign movements
  • A consolidated summary of competitor activity, so the period can be read in one place

How to use it

  • Every report agreed during setup is delivered for the duration of the engagement — no action is needed to keep them running.
  • To change a report's format or content, or to cancel one, contact your system administrator or your Senkrondata Project Manager.

Choosing a reporting cadence

The right interval follows how often prices actually move in your category. Daily reporting suits categories where competitors reprice constantly and a day-old view is already stale; weekly suits most general retail; monthly works for slower categories and for the strategic view a leadership team needs. Reporting more often than decisions are made produces reports nobody opens, which is the usual reason a reporting setup quietly stops being used.
