Periodic Reports

Periodic Reports track hotel prices and market changes for each day, week or month. They are used for strategic pricing and market analysis, giving you the movement of a period rather than a single snapshot.

How the schedule works

  • You choose from the reports you have already generated.
  • You set the number of days and the frequency at which the report should repeat.
  • The report is then produced on that schedule automatically.
  • Reports can also be sent to you automatically by email.

How to use it

  • Open the Reports tab.
  • Select a report from the ones you have generated.
  • Choose the repeat interval and frequency.
  • Request regular generation, and enable email delivery if you want it sent automatically.

Choosing a cadence in hotel pricing

Hotel rates move on two clocks at once: the booking date and the stay date. A rate for a stay three months out may barely change for weeks, while the same room for next weekend can move several times a day as the property manages remaining inventory. That is why a single reporting cadence rarely fits a whole portfolio — near-term dates reward daily reporting, and the forward-booking window is usually read weekly or monthly.
